[Application Case] Preparations for Operating Vehicle Entry and Exit Management Using ETC On-Board Units with the DSRC Roadside System ME9300.
The DSRC roadside system ME9300 is a system that utilizes ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) used on highways. It communicates with the ETC onboard unit installed in the vehicle to obtain a unique ID called WCN (Wireless Call Number). By utilizing this WCN, it can be applied to automate vehicle entry and exit management, for example. The WCN obtained by ME9301 (DSRC antenna) is transmitted to ME9302 (interface box) via ME9303 (dedicated I/F cable). Since ME9302 is equipped with DIO (Digital Input/Output) and WCN registration functions, it allows for vehicle detection, comparison with registered WCNs, and control of gate bars and other devices to be executed independently from external equipment. Additionally, the operation of these systems (scenarios) and WCNs can be pre-registered using the application software MAS930. 【Product Introduction】 ■ DSRC Roadside System ME9300 *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
