The precision grinding unit "Yamato (YA)" is a device that efficiently collects chips (sludge) generated during grinding processes in machine tools using magnetic force from coolant. When a super strong magnet approaches the steel balls that serve as the filtering material, they become magnetized, and the coolant is filtered as it passes through the filtering material. The strong magnet demagnetizes when it moves away from the filtering material, allowing for cleaning. The washed chips (sludge) flow to the magnetic separator for collection.
