"TECATEC(TM)" is a composite material that possesses excellent mechanical strength and stable dimensional accuracy across a wide range of temperature environments. It is produced by impregnating carbon fiber woven into a carbon cloth with PEEK or polyether ketone ketone (PEKK) resin as the matrix resin, using compression molding. By combining these two materials, the strength and elasticity modulus are significantly improved compared to conventional fiber-reinforced extruded materials.
