Medical polymers used for sutures and stent coatings.
"Poly-DL-lactic acid (PDLLA)" is obtained by using lactide (the cyclic dimer of lactic acid) as a monomer and performing ring-opening polymerization. Unlike crystalline poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and poly-D-lactic acid, it has an amorphous structure with L-lactic acid units and D-lactic acid units arranged randomly. It is mainly used for (biodegradable) sutures and stent coatings, and recently, development for new absorbable devices is also underway. 【Features】 ■ Mainly used for sutures and stent coating applications ■ Flexible processing characteristics ■ Capable of being processed into various shapes ■ Properties: Amorphous, transparent *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
