The reflective SLM that employs liquid crystal coated on silicon (LCoS) technology is a unique design for pure phase applications. Additionally, thanks to the analog drive technology that delivers direct analog data at a consistently new rate independently, it is possible to achieve stable phase stability with minimal ripple. It can be used for various applications, including spectral tuning, and supports wavelengths from 488nm to 1650nm. The SLM-1K is designed for high-speed response and achieves a response time of <1.1ms (<1KHz) with phase ripple <0.2% by adopting the latest PCIe high-speed digital controller. This results in a response speed that is up to 1/8 shorter compared to using an HDMI controller.
