A generic scalable font composed of outlines.
"TrueType fonts" are versatile scalable fonts (outline fonts) with a rich variety of high-design typefaces. They can be used on real-time operating systems (RTOS) and NonOS in conjunction with embedded font rendering engines (font rasterizers). At DynaComware, if the font name starts with DF, all characters are monospaced; if it starts with DFP, only alphanumeric half-width characters are proportional; and if it starts with DFG, it includes alphanumeric half-width and non-kanji proportional characters. It is also possible to provide these three types of font data in a bundled TTC (TrueType Collection) format.
