The carrier is made of aluminum extruded profiles, which include housings for recirculating ball bearings and T-nut grooves. Thanks to the special profile of the carrier, it is possible to set the backlash to zero and adjust the correct bearing preload using four adjustment screws. The assembly of the carrier, mounting to the bar, preload, and initial lubrication are performed by Gimatic.
