Moldex3D, a complete 3D resin flow analysis software, simulates the behavior inside molds during the plastic molding process on a computer, aiming to foresee and prevent any troubles that may arise during various processes. 【Features】 ■ Large-scale, high-speed analysis using the finite volume method for high-precision 3D analysis In traditional finite element method (FEM), computation time increases geometrically with the number of elements, whereas in the finite volume method (FVM), it increases linearly, making it overwhelmingly advantageous as the number of elements increases. ■ High-precision 3D analysis It faithfully solves the Navier-Stokes equations based on non-Newtonian fluids and can consider the effects of inertia and gravity, allowing it to handle complex phenomena such as runner balance and jetting.
