[Case Studies by Application in the Paper and Coatings Industry] Examples of Water-Based Pigment Transfer
Introducing a case study on the use of radial vane pumps for the transfer of water-based pigments!
Here is an example of the transfer of water-based pigments in the paper and paint fields. We received inquiries and consultations regarding issues caused by wear from pigments. As a solution, we used ceramic and highly wear-resistant vanes for the casing outer surface and guide ring, which extended the lifespan. 【Case Overview】 ■ Purpose: Wear countermeasures ■ Model: Radial vane pump R type ■ Liquid Name: Water-based pigment ■ Issues: Wear caused by pigments ■ Improvements: The lifespan was extended by using ceramic and highly wear-resistant vanes for the casing outer surface and guide ring. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

In 1980, we received a request to "extract expensive raw materials that remain at the bottom of a drum to the very bottom." This led us to focus on high-suction vane pumps and begin research and development. Since then, we have developed the V-type vane automatic pressure regulation mechanism and our current main product, the SQ-type dual-screw pump. We have also developed small vane pumps. For the dual-screw pump, we introduced unique features such as a slide bar for smooth disassembly and cleaning (PAT), a slide bar docking system, paddles to prevent bridging, and the SQW-type equipped with a screw conveyor for transferring ultra-high viscosity materials (PAT). Additionally, we created the VQ-type deforming pump with a defoaming function that achieves both defoaming and liquid transfer simultaneously, and the BQ-type blending pump with stirring capabilities that mixes multiple liquids while transferring them. We have continuously developed innovative technologies through unique ideas and brought them to market. We are committed to tackling "challenges that are deemed impossible by common sense" head-on, and we are confident that our mission is to create "unique products that truly benefit our customers." Moving forward, we will actively challenge our customers' difficult requests and continue to develop one-of-a-kind products. Our customers' needs are the source of power for us at FUKKO. Please feel free to consult us about any issues or concerns you may have.
