● Humidified gas can also be tested for permeability. Humidification is done by bubbling in a bubbler. ● Depending on the application, we will manufacture differential pressure type (differential pressure method) or flow type (isobaric method) systems. ● Calculations for gas permeability coefficients, gas transmission rates, and water vapor transmission rates (moisture permeability) will be performed on a computer, along with the setting of time sequences and logging of various physical quantities (temperature, flow rate, pressure, humidity). The gas permeability of polymer membranes is a physical property related to the composition and structure of the material, and it has a significant impact on performance when the membrane is used as an industrial product (such as fuel cells, packaging materials, containers, etc.). This device consists of a permeability section (permeation cell, constant temperature bath, humidity sensor, etc.), a gas supply section (mass flow controller, bubbler, temperature controller, etc.), a gas chromatograph (for measuring permeation amounts), and a data processing section (computer, integrator). Using a gas chromatograph as the detector in accordance with JIS K7126-1 (K7126-2) methods allows for permeability testing of mixed gases as well (please consult us regarding gas types).
