Recently, a 14MW ground-mounted solar power project in Fukushima Prefecture has been completed. Fukushima Prefecture is generally characterized by hilly mountainous terrain and is located in the Tohoku region of Japan. Through photos taken by Tron, it was evident that the construction site has significant elevation differences and complex undulating slopes. In recent years, due to the increase in solar power generation facilities aimed at achieving carbon neutrality, suitable locations have decreased, leading to more solar power plants being built in mountainous areas. Therefore, there is a demand for technologies that enable the installation of solar power generation even in challenging locations. In response, AnTai Solar is making every effort in technology research and development. In a situation where slopes are inclined not only east-west but also north-south, how can we maximize power generation? AnTai Solar has devised a solution. For example, we provide optimal design proposals that match each slope angle according to the foundations specified by the customer. Furthermore, in the north-south direction, we customize the mounting design for every 5-degree slope angle based on specific conditions. Additionally, the designed mounting structures are also considered to reduce the workload at the construction site while ensuring safety and other factors.

Recently, the Bison No. 39 and No. 32 power plants were completed one after the other, with installed capacities of 470 KW and 335.16 KW, respectively. The Bison No. 39 power plant is located in Yamaguchi Prefecture and employs the SC+CG series, which combines constructability, stability, and flexible responsiveness, installed on a screw pile foundation frame. The No. 32 power plant, located in Hiroshima Prefecture, adopted a heavy salt damage specification. The site uses double flanges and adjustable fittings to accommodate the slope, and screw piles are driven in using the cast-in method. As a leading company in solar mounting structures, Antai Solar reached a shipment volume of 5.39 GW for mounting structures to Japan by 2020. Three years have passed since the collaboration with Bison Energy Co., Ltd., and a close and stable partnership has already been established. In December 2020, a strategic partnership agreement was officially concluded with Bison Energy Co., Ltd. Previously, most of the solar power projects we were involved in were for ground-mounted systems, but in response to market needs, it was agreed that there would be an increase in rooftop projects moving forward.

The project has undergone more than 60 revisions from the start of design to the final plan, and construction is finally set to begin this March, with completion expected by the end of March 2021. Located in Hiroshima Prefecture, this power plant experiences snowfall of over 100 cm and has a surface roughness classification of II. To meet the customer's requests regarding the strength of the mounting structure, maximum panel exposure, and shortened construction period, our sales representatives collaborated with a first-class architect in Japan, who conducted multiple meetings and created a mock-up of the mounting structure, ultimately adopting a special mounting structure with a north-south combination. The mounting structures are arranged to spread like a triangular roof, allowing panels to be installed on both the north and south sides, optimizing the layout to maximize power generation. We use our own aluminum materials, adhering to the latest JIS standards, to support long-term stable operation of the power plant for about 25 years. Additionally, presetting at the factory simplifies construction, combining excellent cost performance with high-efficiency installation needs. Since entering the Japanese market in 2011, AnTai Solar has consistently received positive feedback. By 2019, the cumulative shipment of mounting structures reached 4.55 GW, securing a position in the Japanese market. Furthermore, the establishment of branches and logistics centers has deepened local services, gradually expanding our business in Japan.
