Unique combination: IMR-MS + EI-MS
The CombiSense real-time combined gas mass spectrometer is a unit that combines two mass spectrometry techniques: soft ionization technology with low ionization energy and electron collision ionization method. It allows for the simultaneous real-time measurement of individual organic and inorganic gas components in a mixed gas using a single unit. The response speed is quick, at several tens of milliseconds, making it ideal for quantifying trace components in the ppb range.

basic information
Two types of mass spectrometry techniques, Ion Molecule Reaction (IMR) and Electron Impact Ionization (EI), are housed in one unit. Most trace organic and inorganic gas components can be detected with IMR-MS, while gases such as H2, He, N2, and high concentrations (%) of CO2 can be simultaneously detected with EI-MS, accommodating a variety of gas analyses.
