This product is an exposed box with a cover that allows for the installation of an embedded outlet. By properly implementing waterproof construction, such as inserting wire holes, and combining it with a waterproof plate, it meets the IPX5 equivalent based on JIS C0920 (protection class based on the outer casing of electrical machinery and equipment).
