■3D Multi-Data Translator With a single spGate, it is possible to receive various 3D CAD data. The received data can be output in any data format after checking and correcting for defects. During output, various option settings can be configured, making it easy to differentiate uses such as outputting in a lower version or converting to JAMA-IS for output. ■PDQ Verification Function It can also be used as a checking tool for the PDQ (Product Data Quality) guidelines established by JAMA (Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association) and JAPIA (Japan Auto Parts Industries Association). In addition to the items specified in the PDQ guidelines, various check patterns can be constructed and used on a case-by-case basis. ■Correction (Healing) Function With the automatic healing function, mildly defective models are automatically corrected. If the correction method is not uniquely determined and operator decision-making is required, the checking function can be used to detect defects, and manual repairs can be made. spGate provides various commands for repair purposes. ■Other features include shape simplification and surface removal functions, etc.
