Instead of slowing down with mechanical brakes like powder brakes, motion control can be easily achieved electrically. When the motor rotates faster than the specified or set speed, the motor is used as a generator to slow down that speed and apply the brake. The four-quadrant driver is overwhelmingly cheaper compared to servo drivers. It is a recommended product for those who do not need a servo but want a certain level of control. The four-quadrant brushless motor driver automatically applies brakes when the speed exceeds the set limit, such as when an AGV is going uphill and exceeds the speed it was programmed to maintain. This helps prevent or mitigate exceeding the set limits, personal injuries, property damage, and damage to surrounding devices like motors and drivers. When lifting and lowering loads, while there may be no issues during ascent, descent can cause the speed to exceed the intended limit due to gravity and the weight of the load, leading to potential property damage, personal injury, or motor damage. By slowing down and stabilizing the speed during descent, we aim to reduce property damage and personal injuries. The dimensions, appearance, specifications, and usage methods are inherited from VENUS, allowing for immediate replacement from the current driver.
