We offer imaging mass spectrometry that allows us to obtain molecular information at various measurement points in biological samples, combined with spatial information, enabling the acquisition of comprehensive molecular maps. In addition to the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization method, we have developed a highly sensitive desorption electrospray ionization method. This high-sensitivity DESI can detect approximately 70-80% of the tested compounds.
