Measuring the thickness of a non-magnetic film on a steel substrate.
■Compact Body The meter is laid out vertically in a lightweight, compact body. It fits perfectly in one hand, making it ideal for measurements on-site. ■Easy Operation Features a familiar dial-type zero and standard adjustment method. The layout allows you to operate the probe with your right hand while adjusting the dial with your left hand, making the adjustment process much easier. ■Wide Range The measurement range remains wide as before. It can measure thin film thickness (in the μm range) such as plating, as well as thick lining film thickness (in the mm range) up to 5mm. ■Data Compatibility The probe adopts the same specifications as previous models. This ensures that the vast amount of data assets accumulated so far is not wasted. ■CVD Magnetic Poles The magnetic poles use CVD-treated poles with ultra-wear resistance. They maintain initial characteristics and high reproducibility even under hard usage over long periods.

Applications/Examples of results
This is an electromagnetic thickness gauge for non-destructive measurement of the thickness of insulating coatings and non-metallic coatings such as paint and lining on iron substrates, as well as plating. ■ Paint: Heavy anti-corrosion coatings for parts, equipment, steel furniture, home appliances, automobiles, machinery, bridges, ships, and steel structures. ■ Lining: Resin, tar epoxy, rubber, enamel. ■ Plating: Non-magnetic plating such as chrome, zinc, copper, and tin (excluding electroplated nickel).
Company information
Since our founding in April 1986 as "Soki Shokai" with the vision of "creating a new century with measurement technology," we have continuously challenged ourselves to innovate in measurement through our "technical expertise" and "on-site capabilities." As a specialist in the surveying and measurement field within the Kanamoto Alliance Group, we will increasingly focus on "rental of surveying and measuring equipment," "development of automatic measurement systems," and "development of original products." We are committed to working together as a united team to meet the expectations of all our stakeholders. We sincerely appreciate the continued support and patronage of our customers and partners.
