It is a commonly used rain gauge. It operates a pen based on signals sent from the sensor, allowing for the recording of changes in rainfall on a recording paper.
The tipping bucket rain gauge consists of a receiving section and a recording section of the self-recording electric counter. The receiving section is placed outdoors, while the recording section is installed indoors in the observation room, and both are connected by wires through a battery to operate.
