"Chromic acid anodizing" is a coating obtained by anodizing aluminum in an anhydrous chromic acid aqueous solution. It provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially for high-strength aluminum alloys with a high copper content, as well as heat resistance and a crack-free coating that withstands rapid temperature changes and repeated fatigue, making it suitable for aircraft structures and functional components.
