The HMG-450-5-09EL (HMG450509EL) is a 400MHz band high-gain magnetic element manufactured by Nippon Antenna. It is a 3λ/4 collapsible antenna element for radio equipment in the 400MHz band. It is a capacitive grounded 3λ/4 whip antenna. A whip antenna is one that has no directivity and can receive and transmit signals from any angle. It is used in combination with separately sold mobile station vehicle-mounted magnetic bases such as MG-BA5-09 and MG-BA3-09. It is the same product as the antenna elements of the 400MHz band vehicle-mounted high-gain magnetic antennas HMG-450-5B-09 and HMG-450-5A-09. It operates at a specified frequency within the 350-470MHz range. There are two model numbers based on the operating frequency: - HMG-450-5-09EL 350-370: Frequency range 350-370MHz - HMG-450-5-09EL 450-470: Frequency range 450-470MHz The connector is an M6×1 female thread.
