The "IRIS-CA1" is a treatment proposed for extending the lifespan of press molds (punches and dies) used for processing Colson materials, which have been struggling with shot counts under harsh conditions in the previous "DLC-IRIS." Due to special conditions, AlCrN can be deposited in a smooth state with surface roughness similar to that of "DLC-IRIS." With a film thickness of 1μm, we have made it possible to deposit AlCrN with a smooth surface roughness, resulting in good adherence to precision parts.
