A measuring instrument that can easily measure magnetic hysteresis curves with a round rod and can also measure the coercivity of parts that fully comply with the new IEC 60404-7 standard.
The newly developed JH Extension Module and KOERZIMAT HCJ 1.097 have made it possible to measure hysteresis loops (magnetic hysteresis curves) using round bar specimens instead of the costly ring-shaped (donut-shaped) specimens that have been the industry standard. This enables low-cost, quick, and accurate high-throughput measurements, significantly contributing to improving the efficiency of measuring large quantities of specimens for quality control and research and development, as well as reducing costs. In measurements within a closed magnetic circuit of a round bar, it is necessary to press and adhere it to the yoke through very precise machining to completely eliminate gaps. Internal stresses may arise, leading to incorrect measurements, and the results depend on the operator's skill level. The preparation takes time and is not suitable for general industrial products. However, it allows for quick and easy measurements without the need for cumbersome sample preparation, demonstrating high throughput in laboratories, universities, contracted testing companies, and industrial testing facilities for quality control on production lines. The coercivity measurement time is only 3 seconds, and the material magnetization time can be freely adjusted. The realization of high output in a wide range of uniform magnetic field space also enables the measurement of the coercivity of the entire assembled component.
