Yamashina primarily engages in the manufacturing, processing, and sales of screws for domestic automobile manufacturers. Due to the high quality demanded by automotive-related customers, we not only ensure reliable quality but also meet the specified delivery dates. Furthermore, we are developing value-added products that reduce our customers' processing steps and lower costs. On-site, we are working to improve production efficiency while collecting data through IoT technology, constantly generating ideas from the field to enhance work efficiency. In 2017, we celebrated our "100th anniversary," launched the CFRP insert nut "Alu-Arma Nut," and introduced IoT at our headquarters factory, followed by the release of the high-tensile steel tapping screw "GIGAFIT" in 2018. Looking ahead, we believe that as smart technology continues to advance, we will increasingly focus on and deepen our engagement in the automotive and low-voltage markets, which are expected to become key players in next-generation growth industries such as robotics and service robots. Established in 1917, during the dawn of mass production of screws in Japan, the company succeeded in producing the first domestic cross-recessed screws in 1949 and cooperated with the government to domesticate tapping screws in 1954. We hold data on over 200,000 types of screws and bolts, enabling us to manufacture a variety of products with high quality. Recently, we have been focusing on research and development investments, working on tapping bolts with a diameter of 6mm or more, high-strength aluminum bolts, tapping screws for thin steel plates, and tapping screws for CFRP, which will support the next generation.
