Many modern wireless communication devices are designed with lower reception sensitivity to receive signals from further away. Additionally, small wireless communication devices, including IoT devices, often have antennas mounted on the circuit board and may not have RF connectors. When conducting reception sensitivity tests under such conditions, excessive surrounding noise can bury the desired signals in noise, making it impossible to accurately measure reception sensitivity. To measure reception sensitivity more accurately, we recommend using a radio wave dark box that can create a low-noise environment.
