We, Kingsoft Corporation, were established in 2005 as a joint venture with the major Chinese IT company "KINGSOFT Corporation" (now: KINGSOFT Corporation Limited) under the banner of "Kingsoft for all users!" At the time of our founding, our main business was the development and sale of free security software and comprehensive office software. Back then, it was common practice to purchase security software for a fee, which indicated that safety and security were things that could only be obtained by spending money, and were not equally available to everyone. In such a situation, we at Kingsoft aimed to provide security software for free, not for a fee, to ensure safety and security in the online world, not just for a select few, but for "Kingsoft for all users!"
