Here is a case study on cushioning materials for prosthetic limbs. Currently, we are purchasing antibacterial and deodorizing non-woven fabric from other manufacturers, but we received a request to find a solution as it discolors after a few years. It was found that the discoloration was caused by the silver used as an antibacterial agent in the cushioning material. Therefore, we sourced an antibacterial agent other than silver and conducted prototype testing. Regarding production lots, we have small to medium-sized equipment, so while we cannot handle large volumes, we were able to produce satisfactory products by responding with smaller manufacturing lots than major companies.
