You can easily color copper alloys in your preferred color at room temperature, anywhere and by anyone. This product is a concentrated solution, so it should be diluted with tap water before use.

【Usage Instructions】 【1. Degreasing】 The black dyeing process relies on chemical reactions, so complete degreasing is necessary. (※ Insufficient degreasing can lead to uneven dyeing.) For degreasing agents, you can use trichloroethylene or a dedicated degreasing agent such as the water-based degreasing cleaner Tobikamaritt from Tobi Co., Ltd. 【2. Surface Activation】 If there is rust or smut, immerse in a 10% hydrochloric acid solution (a solution diluted 2-3 times with water from industrial hydrochloric acid) for 1-2 minutes. 【3. Dyeing Treatment】 Dilute the copper alloy universal dye Tobika Colored AL with water (distilled water or tap water) in a ratio of about 1:4 (5 times dilution) to the required amount. Place the pre-treated item into this solution and immerse it. After about 2 minutes, dyeing will begin, and the color will change over time from yellow to brown to shrimp brown to purple to black tea to bronze to black. Once the desired color (a bit darker) is achieved, promptly remove it. 【4. Rinsing (Hot Washing)】 Once the entire item is dyed, rinse it with water and wipe off any "sludge" adhering to the surface with a sponge or cloth. After that, wipe off the moisture to complete the process.
