Black dyeing processing requires complete degreasing due to chemical reactions. (Note: Insufficient degreasing can cause dye unevenness.) For degreasing agents, there is trichloroethylene or a specialized degreasing agent, the water-based degreasing cleaner Tobikamaritt from Tobi Co., Ltd. In the case of trichloroethylene degreasing agent, immerse the item to be dyed for 1 to 2 minutes, ensuring sufficient degreasing, then remove it and let it air dry. Alternatively, wipe off the solvent with a cloth or towel that has not been contaminated with oil.

【2. Surface Activation】 If there is rust or smut, immerse in a 10% hydrochloric acid solution (a solution diluted 2-3 times with water from industrial hydrochloric acid) for 1-2 minutes. For difficult-to-dye items, using the black dye accelerator Oxpee liquid from Tobisha will make dyeing easier. 【3. Black Dye Treatment】 Dilute the low-temperature room temperature black dye Tobika Blacky Non-Sludge with water (distilled water or tap water) at a ratio of 1:4 (5 times), and immerse the pre-treated items in this solution, stirring up and down several times, for 1-2 minutes. (Be careful as using the concentrate directly or insufficient dilution may result in poor fixation) (For brush application, a ratio of 1:3 is appropriate). (If the solution temperature exceeds 20°C, a small amount of sludge may occur; in this case, add ice or similar to lower the temperature below 20°C before proceeding.) 【4. Rinsing (Hot Rinsing)】 Rinse with water. After draining, proceed to the next step. (If you are concerned about a small amount of sludge, using Chemic's ChemQ Sludge Remover Spray is effective.) 【6. Black Dye Finishing】 Immerse the processed items in the black dye finishing agent Metal Clean Special concentrate for 5-10 minutes. If you immerse sufficiently and remove immediately, it is complete.
