Multi-bus, powerful interface compatible with multi-diagnostic protocols, ideal for ECU diagnostics and reprogramming.
Powerful local processing on the VCI ensures stable diagnostic communication between the ECU and the PC. It supports USB, LAN, and W-LAN for connection to the PC, and CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet (DoIP) for connection to the vehicle and ECU. This enables remote diagnostics and OTA capabilities. Future demands are expected to include the construction of diagnostic systems on the VCI and in-vehicle (Gateway ECU). Softing's VCI can meet such requirements through its powerful hardware configuration and firmware, as well as by integrating middleware (SDE) that packages ODX/OTX-based diagnostic systems into the VCI.
