Ceramics can now be manufactured using 3D printers that utilize light curing technology. Complex shapes that were previously impossible can now be achieved.
In ceramics, traditional manufacturing methods have limitations on the shapes that can be produced, and molding methods using precision molds are costly and time-consuming, with similar restrictions on reproducible shapes. This time, we have achieved manufacturing using a 3D printer with light curing technology. We can create various complex shapes that are smaller than the size of a palm. For example, alumina particles smaller than 1 micron are mixed with UV-curable resin to create a slurry using a stirrer, and then shaped by irradiating UV light. The particle size is very fine, below 1 micron, and due to the advanced stirring technology used, the particles are distributed very uniformly, resulting in a very smooth finish and surface after firing. We not only offer proposals and sales of the equipment itself but also provide contract processing based on 3D data received. The materials include information on manufacturing methods and examples of shapes, so please check them as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

basic information
Target materials: Alumina, zirconia, and other oxide-based materials *For nitrides and carbides, please inquire. We also accommodate unique customer recipes, so please contact us. Work size: Palm-sized or smaller Provision methods: 1. Sale of light-formed ceramics 3D printer manufacturing equipment 2. Contract processing When considering the introduction of equipment, we will first respond with contract processing, so if you provide 3D data, we can convert it into sliced data for consideration. Additionally, since ceramic shaping requires firing, we will provide the finished product after firing.

Narasaki Sangyo Co., Ltd. "Functional Materials Division" specializes in high-performance material contract processing. The materials we handle fall into "five categories": 1. Ceramics/Glass 2. Metals 3. Engineering Plastics 4. Carbon 5. Surface Treatment We offer a wide range of services, and if you provide us with a single production drawing, we can deliver various materials and surface treatments as a one-stop solution. We cater to everything from general-purpose to specialty materials, including high-precision, fine, electrical discharge, laser processing, as well as surface treatments such as coating, precision cleaning, and blasting. Our particular strength lies in high-precision and short-lead-time processing of ceramics. By machining from pre-fired materials, we achieve short lead times for ceramics that traditionally take several months. We handle a wide range of ceramics, including machinable ceramics like Hotovel, as well as fine ceramics such as alumina and zirconia, and non-oxide ceramics like silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and aluminum nitride. We are also actively engaged in proposing cost reductions for overseas ceramics and other international materials. We can accommodate various contract processing projects, from prototype development starting with a quantity of one to mass production.
