basic information
The shell is composed of a complex of the main substance, which consists of crystals of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and a protein called conchiolin, along with a chitinous shell layer. ZERO-KAIRI primarily reacts with calcium carbonate to dissolve the shell and paralyze the meat of the shellfish, thereby removing the shell. Furthermore, it reacts with rust, that is, iron oxide, to form a stable iron phosphate coating on the surface of the iron. This coating becomes dense due to the action of phosphates, providing excellent rust resistance. Additionally, due to its strong permeability, it removes moisture from the rust and has a rust prevention function for a short period. It also enhances the adhesion of the coating.
