The EQCM 14 MM or 25.4 MM DIA., 15 ML is a cell for steady-state solution voltammetry that simultaneously measures electrochemical responses and quartz crystal microbalance sensing. It uses quartz sensors with a diameter of 14 mm or 25.4 mm. In this configuration, the thin film of the measured material is directly deposited on the upper electrode of the QCM sensor. The counter and reference electrodes are mounted on the upper casing (2-electrode or 3-electrode configuration). The cell is made of inert materials (glass and PEEK). It is well-suited for aqueous (FKM O-ring) and organic solvent (FFKM O-ring) electrolyte requirements. It can also be used when it is necessary to bubble inert gas through the electrolyte to remove and eliminate contaminants such as oxygen and water, due to its airtight structure. The EQCM allows for the study of changes in interfacial mass and physical properties related to electron transfer processes occurring at the electrode surface, such as those associated with the electrochemical polymerization of thin films.

Optical fiber spectro-electrochemical flow cell setup: The MM SPECTRO-EFC, SMA 905, 1.75 ML is a horizontally mounted multipurpose spectroelectrochemical cell designed to couple with a light source and spectrometer (UV-Vis, NIR, IR) via optical fiber. Using the photoelectrochemical flow cell from Redox.me, electrochemical and spectroscopic information can be obtained from liquid samples or thin films. Variations in the applied potential cause changes in the observed spectra. The application collimating lens is a curved optical lens that allows for parallel illumination of the sample. Each lens has a diameter of 5 mm, a focal length of 10 mm, and a wavelength range of 200 to 2000 nm. It consists of a magnetic mount sample holder (also available in a screw version), a screw mount quartz window holder, and two different mini tripods, all housed in a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) flow chamber.

Metal-air batteries, water electrolysis, and alkaline fuel cell research. The GDE XRD EC 1.75mL flow cell is a multipurpose electrochemical cell mounted horizontally for gas diffusion electrodes (GDE), designed for use with X-ray diffraction. It consists of two separate chambers (a liquid flow chamber and a gas chamber). Both chambers are held in place by magnetic/screw mounts (with O-ring seals). The liquid chamber can be filled with electrolyte using a syringe, or an external reservoir and peristaltic pump (reservoir and pump not included) can be used to continuously flow the electrolyte. The dry chamber is airtight and can be used for sampling continuous gas flow and gas byproducts using standard analytical equipment such as residual gas analyzers. The two chambers are made from polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material.

The MM RAMAN ECFC 3.5 CM2, 4.5 ML magnetic mount Raman electrochemical flow cell can be used to track dynamic phenomena such as changes in proton concentration near the surface during oxidation and reduction reactions at the working electrode. By combining two analytical techniques, electrochemistry and Raman spectroscopy, chemical information about the reactions occurring during electrochemical experiments can be obtained in situ. The cell consists of three parts: (i) a sample holder equipped with copper foil that functions as an electrical contact to the working electrode surface, (ii) a chamber where the reference electrode and counter electrode are installed along with the inlet and outlet for the electrolyte, and (iii) a lid that seals the cell. Cell specifications: exposed area: 3.5 cm2; electrolyte volume: 4.5 mL; optical path (including quartz window): 3.25 mm; electrode plug diameter: 6 mm; minimum sample size: 23 mm x 23 mm; recommended sample size: 25 mm x 25 mm.

The Raman EQCM FC 3.5 CM2, 4.5 ML cell combines three representative analytical methods: electrochemistry, Raman spectroscopy, and quartz crystal microbalance, allowing for the acquisition of chemical information about reactions occurring during electrochemical experiments in situ. It can be used to track dynamic phenomena such as changes in proton concentration near the surface during redox reactions at the working electrode. Simultaneously, EQCM can observe changes in interfacial mass and physical properties related to electron transfer processes occurring at the electrode surface. It can also be used to identify materials such as carbon, metal oxides, polymers, and electrolytes, and to investigate their structure and distribution. Metals like platinum, gold, and silver are used as auxiliary electrodes. The Raman EQCM FC 3.5 CM2, 4.5 ML cell consists of three parts: (i) a QCM sensor holder; (ii) a chamber where the reference electrode and counter electrode are installed along with the inlet and outlet of the electrolyte; and (iii) a lid that seals the cell. This cell operates with standard quartz sensors of both 14 mm and 25.4 mm in diameter. The Raman laser is focused on the surface of the thin film working electrode through a quartz window and a thin layer of electrolyte (with a total optical path of 3.2 mm).

MM PEC H-CELL 2X15 ML - MAGNETIC MOUNT PHOTO-ELECTROCHEMICAL H-CELL is designed to verify the performance of thin film photoanodes (such as nanocrystalline materials and conductive polymers) deposited on rigid or flexible transparent substrates (usually fused quartz glass). It is a horizontally mounted two-chamber photoelectrochemical H-cell used to simultaneously study the thin film photoanode and cathode. It is suitable for measurements using aqueous (EPDM O-ring) and organic solvent (FFKM O-ring) electrolytes. The airtight structure features two separate chambers, each equipped with gas inlets and outlets, allowing for bubbling of the solution. The chambers are separated by an ion exchange membrane (such as DuPont's Nafion membrane), ensuring that the electrochemical byproducts generated at the photoanode and cathode do not affect the opposite electrode. A screw mounting version is also available.

Bulk Electrolysis Two-Compartment Cell - 50 ML Normally, electrolysis is performed by gradually changing the potential from a value where Faradaic current is not observed to a value where the reaction is mass transport controlled under constant potential conditions. Common applications of bulk electrolysis include: complete oxidation or reduction of solute species, complete synthesis of products through electrochemical processes, partial oxidation or reduction of compounds to change the ratio of oxidizing and reducing species, and studies on reaction mechanisms (coupled reactions). This cell has been developed to perform complete electrolysis of solute species. The cell consists of three electrodes: the working electrode (a mesh glassy carbon electrode), the counter electrode (platinum wire), and the reference electrode (usually aqueous Ag/AgCl or non-aqueous Ag/AgCl, Ag/Ag+). All three electrodes are mounted in separate compartments divided by ceramic frits. The mesh glassy (vitreous) carbon electrode has a large surface area relative to the volume of the solution. Magnetic stirring is also possible.

MM SPECTRO-EFC 1.75 ML - MAGNETIC MOUNT SPECTRO-ELECTROCHEMICAL FLOW CELL is designed for use with standard UV-Vis or IR spectrometers. Variations in applied potential cause changes in the observed spectra. It consists of a magnetic mount sample holder (also available in a screw version), a quartz window holder, and a flow chamber made of polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material with two different mini tripods. The spectroelectrochemical cell is used to study the relationship between absorbance/transmittance and electrochemical potential. It records the optical changes of electrochromic materials in real time. Spectra can be obtained in situ for the detection, identification, and characterization of electrochemically generated short-lived species/intermediates. Specifications: Exposure area: 1 cm² (other values available upon request); optical path length (electrolyte thickness): 12 mm; flow chamber capacity: 1.75 mL; maximum substrate thickness: 4 mm; electrode plug diameter: 6 mm; minimum substrate size: 17 mm x 25 mm; recommended substrate size: 25 mm x 25 mm.
