【Case Study of Membrane Introduction in Liquid】 Livestock (Cattle and Pigs) Wastewater Treatment Equipment
Demonstrating stable processing performance even against varying loads due to seasonal changes! Introduction of a case using a liquid membrane.
This is an introduction to a case where a liquid membrane was introduced into livestock (cattle and pig) wastewater treatment facilities. In Ugo Town, Akita Prefecture, a farming and livestock circulation system has been established to raise safe, secure, and delicious Ugo beef by feeding cattle with additive-free feed made from a mixture of rice straw and rice bran, and utilizing cattle manure for rice cultivation. At the core of this system is the compost center, which produces high-quality organic compost called "Ugo Yuki" in the compost fermentation building and properly treats cattle and pig urine in the urine treatment facility. The adoption of the liquid membrane enables stable discharge of clear treated water. The treated water is used as agricultural water in the irrigation channels where it is released. 【Case Details】 ■ Location: Ugo Town, Akita Prefecture ■ Wastewater Type: Cattle and pig urine ■ Treated Water Volume: 24.2 m³/day ■ Operation: From April 2001 (expanded in April 2006) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
