The custom product "CPT (Collaborative Robot Palletizing Tool)," which has achieved two years of success as a custom item, will now be offered as a standard product. CPT was born from the ideas of the custom line team at Piab Germany and has attracted attention since its launch in 2022 for its ability to pick multiple diverse boxes in the same cycle. Its off-center design, which extends up to 100mm in reach, and its lightweight, compact body reduce the burden on the robot arm. The built-in piCOMPACT(R)23 SMART valve unit enables rapid response and improves throughput. It also features COAX(R) technology, which excels in energy efficiency. The suction surface is plate exchangeable, making it easy to switch between foam pads and suction cups. Models compatible with UR20 size (UR E series and CB series) come with plug-and-play software, while other robot-compatible models are equipped with an IO-link compatible interface.
