Improvement in solidification speed contributes to shortening the casting cycle when applied around the pouring gate!
"DHA-Thermo" is a functional hot work tool steel designed to promote heat removal for small parts such as inserts, ejector pins, and spool cores used in die casting and low-pressure casting. Due to the rapid solidification of the product during casting, it is effective in refining the casting structure and improving the occurrence of casting defects. It is expected to enhance mold life by reducing seizing and melting due to lower mold temperatures, as well as reducing heat checks due to decreased thermal stress. 【Features】 ■ 1.6 times higher thermal conductivity compared to DHA 1 (equivalent to JIS SKD61) ■ Effective in refining casting structure and improving casting defects ■ Reduces seizing and melting due to lower mold temperatures ■ Improves mold life by reducing heat checks due to decreased thermal stress ■ Contributes to shortening the casting cycle when applied around the sprue due to improved solidification speed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
