Conductive polymers are polymer compounds (such as plastics) that possess electrical conductivity. They are widely used in everyday electronic devices such as touch panels, capacitors, and organic EL displays for applications like transparent electrodes and antistatic agents. The conductive polymer handled by Cleva is "PEDOT/PSS," which has the highest stability and conductivity. However, it cannot be used in its raw form alone; it must be mixed with additives such as surfactants (which adjust the spreading degree on a surface) tailored to the target substrate, as well as additives to adjust the dynamic viscoelasticity of PEDOT/PSS, and binders to ensure uniform application and adhesion to the substrate. This conductive polymer ink (liquid) demonstrates electrical conductivity when applied to the target substrate.
