Control vibrations with the power of air! Introducing the mechanism of the air damping system.
The "Air Vibration Control System" is an air-floating TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) that combines air and LM (Linear Motion) guides. Under normal conditions, it is seated (stable), but a special air seal is provided between the vibration mass and the base, creating an air vibration control layer. When vibrations are detected by sensors, compressed air is blown between the air vibration control layer and the base, causing it to float instantly (within 0.2 seconds) and begin vibration control. By utilizing the power of air to lift a large mass, it becomes possible to significantly reduce the friction coefficient between the mass and the base. [Mechanism] ■ Normal condition: The base and vibration mass/air seal are seated. ■ During vibration: Compressed air is blown between the base and the air seal. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
