Protective film for precious metal plating for functional parts
Yumikoar sealing is a post-processing process developed to protect precious metal plating films for functional components. It forms a transparent protective film just a few nanometers thick, preventing corrosion and discoloration of the plating film. The protective film significantly reduces the coefficient of friction. In connectors, it reduces insertion and extraction forces. The protective film does not affect contact resistance and allows for soldering as well.
