The Spirit-NOPA is an automatically wavelength-tunable non-collinear optical parametric amplifier developed for the Spirit and Spirit One. When combined with the turnkey operation-capable high-repetition femtosecond laser Spirit, it becomes a high-output, wavelength-tunable light source suitable for high-repetition ultrashort pulse applications. There are two amplifier stages seeded by white light and second harmonic generation, respectively. The first amplifier stage achieves a non-collinear wide bandwidth, while the second stage achieves a collinear wide wavelength tunability. The Spirit-NOPA-VISIR offers a wide wavelength tunability range from 650nm to 900nm (signal) and from 1200nm to 2500nm (idler), including key wavelengths for three-photon imaging in deep biological tissues. The signal light can be pulse compressed to <70fs using an external prism-based compressor unit (optional), while the idler light can be pulse compressed to <100fs using an integrated compressor within the housing (optional).
