The "PacBio RSII/Sequel system" is a next-generation sequencer that can obtain longer reads compared to previous technologies. The long-read sequence data obtained not only facilitates de novo whole genome sequencing assembly but also contributes to genome structural analysis and the identification of transcript isoforms.
