The "VUKOPOR(R) S Ceramic Foam Filter" is used for the filtration of cast iron, bronze, brass, and copper alloys. This product has sufficient thermal conductivity, stability, and resistance to rapid thermal changes. Due to the chemical properties of the ceramic body, it allows for quick "priming" without adversely affecting the metal.
