A long-distance wireless monitoring system utilizing renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. The Planet company's PoE switch BSP-300/360 can be installed anywhere that does not have direct AC power supply, as it can utilize power charged from renewable energy sources. By connecting an IP camera to the same model and using it as an internet access point, it becomes possible to build a long-distance wireless monitoring system. It is suitable for a wide range of applications such as deserts, national parks, natural/animal conservation areas, highways, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. Additionally, the BSP-300/360 enables remote management at a control center through wireless communication using a 4G LTE gateway. In this way, the BSP-300/360 provides uninterrupted PoE power even in locations without AC power by utilizing renewable energy and nickel-cadmium or lead-acid batteries, allowing for the establishment of a continuous outdoor wireless and IP monitoring system.
