Comparison of glare conditions between new LED lighting fixtures designed to prevent glare and conventional LED lighting fixtures.
The larger the diameter of the processed object, the easier it is to see the bright line! We compared how the bright line appears.
We would like to present the results of our investigation into the effectiveness of the installed glare prevention LED lighting fixture (LPW-488) compared to the conventional lighting fixture (LP-488). The visibility of glare can generally be described as follows, due to the nature of LED lighting using point light sources: - The larger the diameter of the workpiece, the more easily glare can be seen. - The closer the distance between the lighting fixture and the workpiece, the more easily glare can be seen. For a workpiece with a diameter of φ168mm, the glare from the LPW-488 becomes invisible when the distance between the lighting fixture and the workpiece is 30cm. In contrast, with the conventional model, a blurred glare can still be observed even at a distance of about 1m.
