Ion chromatography is undoubtedly one of the analytical methods. So, what is the purpose of analysis? I believe that analyzing means "finding a solution to a problem from the sample in question." Even if you can identify the target substance in that sample using some method, it does not constitute analysis. You must correctly understand the results obtained, statistically analyze them, and draw inferences that lead to causes or solutions to problems. This requires not only proficiency in instrument operation and analytical chemistry but also a wealth of knowledge related to general chemistry, as well as engineering and natural sciences.
