The moorLDI2-IR is the standard model of the LDI series, a blood flow imaging device equipped with a 785nm semiconductor laser. It can image with a maximum resolution of 256×256 pixels and is capable of measuring areas ranging from a minimum of 5x5cm to a maximum of 50×50cm. Due to its specifications, it can be used universally for measurements in small animals and humans. The measurement time at the 256x256 pixel setting is approximately 4 to 10 minutes. 【Main Features】 ■ Non-contact: Since the measurement is performed non-contact, there is no burden on the measurement site. ■ High resolution: Blood flow imaging is possible with a maximum resolution of 256×256 pixels. The resolution setting can be adjusted as desired. ■ Wide area: The measurement range for the target object is from 5×5cm to 50×50cm, and the range can be freely set. ■ CCD camera: A CCD camera is standardly equipped, allowing for simultaneous acquisition of color images of the measurement site.

**Measurement Principle of moorLDI** When a laser is irradiated onto the surface of the skin or tissue, it scatters in response to particles (red blood cells) in the microcirculation blood flow. The scattered light returns with a Doppler shift (frequency shift), and this information is detected as blood flow information, allowing for the creation of a mapping image without contact. The scanner is equipped with a CCD camera, enabling the user to set it up while confirming the measurement target on the screen, and during blood flow measurement, a color image of the measurement target can also be captured simultaneously, allowing for comparison with the blood flow image.
