Different from "Nerikomi Mat," "Coating Mat," and "Sand Mat"! A new proposal to solve the "insufficient mat roughness" issue: "Embossed Mat"!
Unlike flat film surfaces or glossy finishes with shine, a matte-finished surface conveys a calm and moist atmosphere. Matte processing involves roughening the surface to scatter light, changing its appearance to a matte finish. There are various types of matte, such as "mixed," "coating," and "sand," each used in different situations according to their purpose. However, a common concern that arises is the feedback that "the roughness of the matte is insufficient." With "Embossed Matte," it is possible to adjust the roughness by changing the mold. It allows for a rough matte finish that cannot be achieved with other matte methods. Additionally, "Embossed Matte" is a method that directly incorporates matte-like unevenness into the film substrate, so there are no concerns about additives from coating synthetic resins containing fillers like those found in "Coating Matte," or residual sand like in "Sand Matte." Of course, by adding "Embossed Matte" to films that have already undergone matte processing, such as "Mixed Matte," "Sand Matte," or "Coating Matte," collaborations between various matte types and Embossed Matte are also possible.

Detailed information
-
When uncoated film is attached to a photo, reflections and glare from backlighting are concerning.
-
When a matte-finished film is applied to the photo, the reflections from the backlighting are reduced, and the photo takes on a moist and calm texture.
Company information
Our company specializes in embossing plastic films. We excel in processing hard film substrates. We primarily perform embossing on "biaxially stretched PET," which is considered difficult to mold among films, and the embossed films are used in a wide range of applications due to their surface shapes. **Benefits of Adding Embossing (Texture) to Film Processing:** ◆ Increased surface area ◆ Reduced surface contact rate ◆ Prevention of adhesion ◆ Enhanced design quality What was not possible with flat films can now be achieved. Additionally, embossed films are utilized in various applications by leveraging their performance and functionality, including: ◆ Transfer applications to resins that utilize surface design ◆ Light diffusion through reflection and refraction effects ◆ Prevention of contact and adhesion with target objects Embossed films are used in a variety of applications.
