We have turned the voices of "It would be nice to have such a packaging bag" into reality through universal design. We will introduce the planning and development of the 'WOC (Wide Open Cut)', which realizes "packaging that is easy to open and easy to extract contents." When prioritizing ease of extracting contents by making the opening wider, issues arose such as "the film cannot be cut straight like tape." We conducted opening tests with a large number of people representing consumers, and after repeated prototypes, we devised improvements such as adjusting the opening width to a size that matches the bag, allowing anyone to cut it straight, resulting in the completion of our product. 【Issues】 ■ If the opening width is made wider, the film cannot be cut straight like tape. ■ While peeling off the heat seal part of the opening, if the opening width is too wide, the resistance when peeling becomes too strong, resulting in poor ease of opening. 【Improvements】 ■ The opening width is designed to match the size of the bag, allowing anyone to cut it straight. ■ The heat seal shape is designed to allow for smooth opening with minimal force. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
