The XP Power HPT5K0 series is a 3-phase input, 5kW output AC/DC power supply. It features both analog and digital control interfaces, allowing for the setting of output voltage (0 to 105%) and output current (0 to 110%). A graphical user interface (GUI) is also provided to define unique user profiles that can be customized to fit the final application without changing hardware, thereby reducing design time. This functionality allows the same base unit to be used across multiple applications, enhancing scalability and reducing costs. It supports multiple digital protocols including PMBus, CANopen, MODBUS, and SCPI, along with I²C, RS232, and RS485 serial buses, providing designers with flexibility.
