Achieve high-precision machining! Reamer heads that can be used with radial drilling machines, horizontal boring machines, lathes, and more.
The "BTA Reamer Head" is used to precisely enlarge holes that have been processed by drilling. It can accurately and stably process deep through-holes from φ15 to φ70 without being affected by eccentricity in the pilot hole. It can be used with machining centers and lubrication devices on radial drilling machines, horizontal boring mills, lathes, and more. 【Features】 ■ Incorporates BTA technology to achieve high-precision processing ■ The inner surface of the hole utilizes vanishing with two guide pads that receive cutting forces ■ Enables the pursuit of higher roundness ■ Achieves stable processing diameter and surface roughness ■ Uses a dedicated arbor that minimizes the influence of spindle accuracy *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is "BTA"? It is a question we are always asked when we mention our company name. BTA stands for "Boring & Trepanning Association." The BTA method is one of the cutting processes for creating deep holes in metal, and due to its structure, it excels in chip removal, rigidity, and productivity. As a result, it can perform high-precision deep hole machining at high speeds, and it features an excellent finish. Our company was established in 1959 with the aim of selling BTA deep hole drilling machines and tools. Since then, we have opened new factories, starting with the Kamata factory in Tokyo, to carry out BTA deep hole drilling, followed by the Sagamihara factory and the Kakogawa factory (which later moved to the Akashi factory). Additionally, we began manufacturing BTA deep hole drilling machines and tools at the Kazo factory, and our company has always been a pioneer in the BTA method.
