Development Achievements Obayashi Corporation Education VR System Utilizing BIM Data Currently, training is conducted using educational mock-ups that have already been installed in the training facility. However, it is difficult to modify the mock-ups, and trainees need to travel to the site, which incurs costs and time. To solve this issue, a VR education system was developed. This allows for training to be conducted easily in an environment similar to a construction site, regardless of location, and since BIM data can be utilized as material, it is possible to easily create various educational tools. Matsuya Foods Co., Ltd. Restaurant Customer Service Training VR This VR training allows participants to actively practice and internalize pleasant customer service in a virtual space. This VR training was introduced as the first initiative of Matsuya Foods' VR project "MaVROS (Matsuya VR Operation System): Maburos."

We developed a safety experience education system utilizing VR technology at the request of Daitetsu Industrial Co., Ltd. This educational content aims to share crisis awareness and improve safety consciousness by allowing users to experience labor accidents related to railway construction. The scenarios include five types: contact with trains (two types), falls from bridges, heavy machinery accidents, and limit obstacles, all created with realistic 3DCG based on thorough field research to provide an immersive experience. We adopted a system that manages 10 Oculus Quest devices collectively, compensating for the drawback of VR that can only be experienced individually, allowing for use in group education settings.
